Happy Valley HOA
May 2024
The public was thrilled and amazed by our goats on this job, as we were hired by an HOA in Happy Valley to clear a site that was on a very busy street in a residential neighborhood. We must have had 10-20 vistors a day, every day!
There was a lot about this job that seems tailor made for goats. There is lots of slope, a ton of debris, and a lovely little stream fed by an artesian spring just uphill. We were able to chop and munch our way through mutiple stands of trees: pine, hawthorne, privet, alder, and others were part of this process. Although goats don’t usually eat well-established trees, we were able to remove and pile up quite a bit of tree debris for subsequent removal by a team with a chipper!
