We received a call from a government agency in Oregon City. They had a parcel of land that they were having trouble managing for a number of reasons: it was a protected seasonal wetland, it was littered with rock and tree debris, and there were a lot of tight corners that would be tough to navigate with mechanical equipment. In addition, one fenceline was shared with an apartment complex, so noise and nuisance were factors.
Our goats had no issue getting around on the property and didn’t tear up the groud the way that a tractor or mower would have. In addition, the goats were minor celebrities as another fenceline was shared with the parking lot of a busy shopping center so we had quite a few people stop by on a daily basis! This site is also notable for having multiple wasp and hornet nests that we (unfortunately) discovered in the worst way. Fortunately nobody on the crew is allergic so after gearing up properly we were able to remove the nests without too much difficulty.
